Grades 3-5 learned created digital citizenship pledges in the computer lab. Students established expectations and norms for the group related to appropriate online behavior. Students discussed the need to participate responsibly and respectfully in online communities. Students also participated in a new hidden picture activity using Google Sheets. They are looking forward to doing this activity again!
Grades K-2 learned that the information they put online leaves a digital footprint or "trail". Students explored what information is appropriate to use online. They worked in teams as detectives to determine what pieces of information were safe and unsafe, using their online traffic light (red light = stop, yellow light = wait, green light = go). Please talk at home about being safe online.
