K-2 are learning how to be responsible, respectful and safe online. Students were introduced to 6 new digital citizens who will hopefully help them to remember to "Pause and Think Online".
3-5 Digital Citizenship Week was October 14-18 and students watched important videos on Cyber Safety and Surfing Safety that will help them work toward being responsible, respectful and safe online.
KEYBOARDING and MOUSE SKILLS
Grades 2-5 worked on keyboarding through typing.com which can be found on the home page of our technology website. Third, fourth, and fifth graders are working on memorizing keys, keeping fingers on the home row, and using correct posture for typing. Second grade is becoming more familiar with the keyboard, using all fingers to type, and using correct posture for typing.
Kindergarteners and first graders worked on their keyboarding and mouse skills. They practiced clicking and dragging and are also becoming more familiar with important keys on the keyboard (enter, spacebar, backspace, shift, caps lock, etc.).
GOOGLE SHEETS and GOOGLE DOCS
Grades 3-5 used their multiplication facts to reveal images to complete 5 fall challenges in Google Sheets. K-2 created pumpkins using the Interactive Hundreds Chart in abcya.com.
